Overload in Stereo, hailing from Beaver County, Pennsylvania, is a rock ensemble with a unique sound influenced by bands like Jimmy Eat World, Rush, and the Foo Fighters. The band features Joshua King on bass, engineering, and production; Jesse Reynolds as the songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist; and Josh Broge on drums. Originating from a high school rock band in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, King and Reynolds formed a strong friendship rooted in their shared dream of rock stardom.
The band’s journey is marked by unconventional evolution, merging two original rock projects and drawing on their varied musical backgrounds. King and Reynolds reconnected in 2020, leading to the creation of ‘Going Back,’ a song that sparked the official formation of Overload in Stereo. This collaboration thrived despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, leading to the merging of their respective projects.
Interestingly, the band’s name, initially a point of contention in high school, eventually became a symbol of their second chance in the music world. Overload in Stereo represents not just a creative outlet for its members but also a way to impact others positively through their music.
